ALL GONE, THANK YOU
Now this fabric is a wildly popular M@rc Jac0bs daisy cotton from a few seasons back.
Jacobs built a whole range around variations on this print but I think the grey tonal prints are among the nicest of the collection.
This print is a medium weight canvas-type cotton, so this would be the perfect weight fabric for pants, shifts, slim skirts and outwear, like the big parka by Jacobs shown in the collage below.
I don’t know why, but this whole 70’s fashion vibe happening at the moment makes me think of this look (from the latest Paris Vogue) and I’d even consider making pants with a bit of a flare to wear with a simple white top.
(By the way, this “uptown girls” editorial in the Paris Vogue is one of the best out of all the March editorials IMHO).
These are a few of the designs that M@rc Joc0bs turned out with this fabric range.
The cotton I have here has more of a blurred quality and really features the weave quite prominently. This is part of the print design but also reflects the fabric texture.
This cotton is 130cm and the length is 2 metres. The fabric price is $25 a metre/$50 for the piece. The fabric is heavier and exceeds the 500g weight limit for the smaller satchel, so I would need to send this in a medium satchel at $13.40.
