Pale shell pink dandelion silk/lycra charmeuse SOLD

Sticking with the more understated colours/prints for the moment, this truly beautiful silk/lycra now has an outing.

This is an interesting print.  I think it basically takes the form of a repeating panel although there is no discernible start/finish line for the panel.

The ‘panel’ is approximately 1 metre in length. At one end the stylised ‘dandelions’ are densely group, becoming more sparse moving towards the other end of the length.

The fabric is a lovely soft silk/lycra charmeuse with a good amount of stretch with perfect recovery.  This fabric moves so nicely.

There’s not really enough fabric to make this Nina Ricci dress, but I love it so much and if I could, I would probably make something like this with the pink dandelions.

The fabric width is 112cm and the length is 2.4 metres, so two full panels, such as they are, plus some extra fabric to play with.

I bought this fabric from a lovely Australian store and I picked it up at a bit of a discount.  The full price for this fabric was over $40 a metre if I recall.  I paid a few $$$ less than this.  I’m pricing it here now at $33 a metre/$79 for the piece.

I can post this in the smallest satchel (with tracking) at $8.25.  Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
