If you’d like to do an animal print but in a softer palette this fabric is the go.
Soft lavender, pale blue aqua and washed cadet blue markings overlay a buff base. You can pick up on any of the colours for a contrast, and of course, could wear this fabric with the most casual jeans through to skirts…or dresses with sneakers or snappy sandals. These separates are by Derek Lam.
The cotton can be described as both a shirt and dress weight. It is light, but nice and dense, and opaque. This fabric will be suitable for anything – tops, dresses, skirts, pants, shorts. I really love this little dress by Michael Kors. I think it is just perfect for an animal print fabric.
This cotton is 114cm wide and the length is 2.1 metres. I got this cotton from a high-end Australian fabric store. I think I paid $25+ for this fabric but I’m happy to offer it up here for less.
The fabric price is $19 a metre/$38 for the piece. I’ll be able to send this fabric in a small satchel at $8.25. Please see here for full details on payment and posting. If interested, please click on the email link below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
