Thunderstorm colours irregular plaid print viscose SOLD

Plaid prints have been huge the last few years and show no signs of abating yet.

Perhaps this can be considered a plaid with a twist, or a cross between a windowpane pattern and a plaid.

The plaid itself is seemingly irregular insofar as repeating squares can be considered thus.  The colours are wonderful – fantastic moody tones of dark greys, deep blues and browns, punctuated by raspberry and melting lime.  It makes one colour-complex whole, but somehow still reasonably subtle.

The fabric is viscose, meaning it is a wonderfully drapey sort of fabric, perfect for volume, gathers, tucks, and it is quite light, with a semi-transparency.  It is much heavier than a dense georgette, but still a little transparent up against the light.

Lots of Dries van Noten.

The fabric is 130 cm wide and the length is 2 metres.  The price is $23 a metre/$46 for the piece.

I can post this in the smallest satchel (with tracking) at $8.25.  Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
