A burst of spheriforms cotton voile

This fabric was an Australian or New Zealand designer. It might have been Trel1se C0oper, but a bit of time has past since I rustled through my (enormous) collection of fabrics and I just can’t remember. If it wasn’t them, it was a designer in that milieu. I so love the colours here: persimmon, wheat, duck egg blue and manila against a warm brown background.

I do photograph my fabrics on a white back cloth so the voiles, georgettes etc which are not strong solids lose a little colour intensity in the image. Here is a scale image, all lovely and voluminous and a lot closer to the actual colours of the fabric.

The fabric is a soft and light cotton.  It could have a silk element, but I am not sure. It is not opaque but has more density than many voile fabrics.  You can cut volume here…gathers on tops, into yokes and so on would all work well.

This voile is 140cm x 2.2 metres – so many options with this width and length. This fabric was quite expensive as a designer fabric, but I can’t remember the price. I will mark it at $35 a metre, but I know that is less than the cost price. The piece will be $77 plus post ( in a medium satchel). Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email link below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australian sales only thanks).

Here is another video, complete with steamer puffing sounds. I have learnt now.
