Black and white Ikat-style designer silk/cotton SOLD

THIS FABRIC IS GONE NOW THANKS

Ikat prints have an enduring popularity and when they are the combination of classic but edgy like this print on offer, even better.

This fabric belonged to an American designer called Dan@ Buchm@n.  It is a light shirting weight, mostly opaque, and the composition is silk/cotton, though I don’t know in what proportion.

I can see a classic shirt out of this fabric and that is what I would have made (had I been sewing!!) but equally, there are some lovely more casual tops and other floaty things to consider too.

The fabric width is 112cm and the length is 2 metres.  I have pre-washed this fabric and for that reason I am pricing it at $20 a metre/$40 for the piece, even though it cost me more than this.  I can sent it in a small satchel for $8.25.

Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email link below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).

Sorry this next image is a bit blurry but it gives you a better idea of the scale of the print.  The flower motif inside the curved lines is about 5cm/2″ in length.
