Broken arrow striped cotton/lycra SOLD

GONE NOW, THANKS

This is a top quality and very versatile medium-weight cotton in a small scale tribal graphic.

The cotton also has a touch of lycra (less that 5%) which will give that extra bit of wearing ease to whatever might be made.

I am pretty sure that this is a Milly designer fabric as I have seen clothes in this fabric, but the fabric doesn’t have the Milly signature, so I can’t give you a 100% assurance.

I have an image of this fabric made up in pants similar to these, but maybe a little more fitted.

But the fabric would be suitable for so many other clothes.  I can see it used for a sharp and sculptured jacket, the kind that Alexander McQueen makes.  You could always do fitted dresses, and cut the stripes in different directions to create off-set patterns.  Or a simple jeans-style skirt, top-stitched, rivets and all, worn with a crisp white shirt?

This fabric would actually be very versatile indeed.  The black, dark brown, hazelnut and off-white colour scheme with a small scale-pattern like this works like a neutral in the end, adding to the versatility.

As a cotton closer to a medium weight, the folds are fuller and a bit thicker.  If you wanted more volume, I think it would work really well in a dress like this one worn by Anna Wintour.  Nobody does dresses like Anna. I can’t for the life of me remember which designer this is though.

This cotton measures 125cm and the length is 3 metres. I’ll keep the price down on this fabric too and price is here at $19 a metre/$57 for the piece.

I will need to post this piece in a medium size satchel for $13.40.  Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email link below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
