Marc Jacobs pom pom embroidered cotton SOLD

I had clear idea what I was going to do with this delightful Marc Jacobs fabric when I got it.

I had a couple of garments in mind.

It included a simple slightly A-line skirt which I thought would be the most perfect slightly dressy garment that would work well with an easy-going t-shirt sort of top in black, and strappy sandals.  That’s about as close as I get to dressing up!

This fabric consists of two pieces. A chalk cotton base fabric, and then a black organza layered over this, with the two fabrics joined by the embroidery.   This embroidery in itself is a delightful pattern of rosettes with a raised black flower in the centre of the main motifs.  It is nicely detailed but not overdone.  The edges are scalloped and you could incorporate this in your design.  You’d never feel it was ‘too much’ and it’s the perfect fabric for dressing up or down.

I bought this fabric from a wonderful Australian store…let’s say I am a Katie fan…some will know.

I am happy to cut this piece.  Of course if someone wants the lot then it’s yours.  But, I could do 2 x 1.5m and 1 x 1m, or 2 x 2m, for example.  I’d prefer to work in increments of 50cm so that the whole piece ends up being accounted for.

Postal costs will depend on the length of fabric.  Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
