The M!lly designers certainly do a great job of mining classic design styles but giving them a twist to bring them completely up-to-date.
This silk twill epitomises that I think with its modern colouration and bold rendition of the graphics.
I wish I had time to dig in and find images of how M!lly worked with this range of silks. The graphics are on a slightly larger scale but M!lly created dress, skirts and shirts that worked really well with this print. T0ry Burch is another one who likes these sort of graphics. If you want some inspiration, have a look through her past catalogue.
This silk is M!lly’s very favourite variety, a perfect silk twill…dense weave and perfectly opaque, lot of body, soft hand, just a beautiful silk.
This piece is 120cm wide and the length is 2 metres. The fabric price is $32 a metre/$64 for the piece and I can send the fabric in a small satchel for $9.40.
