Off white and black threaded cotton GONE

GONE NOW THANKS

Here is  length of a cotton (or cotton blend? possibly with a hint of viscose in it?) from everyone’s favourite NYC fabric store.

It has a fabulous weave, with the black threads woven through to form patterns resembling ironwork scrolls.

I look at a fabric like this and think in terms of jackets, and particularly, all the Proenza Schouler jackets that have been shaped around the white/black and tweedy fabrics.

But, this fabric would also work really well as a dress…say a shift dress style, or skirt, and you could even make pants from it.  As I handle the fabric now, it would probably be properly described as a medium weight cotton (or cotton blend) but it has a lightness and softness to it too, not stiff.  It is malleable and you can work with a bit of volume, but not a huge amount I’d say.

This is an end of roll piece.  The width is 145cm.  There is 1.15 metres at this width.  Then a strip has been cut from the fabric to make an effective width of 130cm, and there is an extra 30 cm at this width…all in one continuous length.

The price for the piece is $20.   I can post this in the medium satchel (with tracking) at $13.40.  Please see here for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).
