Roar silk

I was going to say you can’t be too shy, wearing this fabric, but then I don’t know that’s true. Obviously this is an animal print, leopard, but it’s got a fuzzy abstraction to it and also muted shades are used so while the print has real presence, you could still cut and wear it in a regular way. But if you wanted to make this a stand-out print, you could of course go to town.

This is a designer piece and is a silk double crepe/viscose blend.

The fabric has a really great weight. You could swish and twirl and the fabric would join along enthusiastically! But really, you could do anything from a dress, to skirt, jacket, top.

Going way back, Tom Ford designed for Yves St Laurent for some seasons and his collections were legendary. I think I would have had that collection in mind when I got this piece, (although I would have got it anyway). Image credits here Vogue.

And this one. You could really get a versatile wardrobe making separates with this fabric.

And there’s just the right amount of fabric to do it too. The fabric 145cm wide and the length is 2.7 metres. It’s a designer silk blend; can’t remember the exact price but will mark lower than higher (I’m after cost-recovery at best) at $49 a metre/$132.30 for the piece plus post (extra large satchel will be needed). Please see FAQ for full details on payment and posting.  If interested, please click on the email link below; fabric details will appear automatically and I will get back to you asap. (Australia delivery only thanks).

Finishing with another of my excellent videos.
